Ingleside Police Department_3rd Annual Operation Blue Santa Toy Drive

To All of Our Corporate and Business Partners,

It’s THAT time again and we NEED your help!!!

No one calls 9-1-1 to tell the police that all is well with their lives.  In the course of a police officer’s routine work we often encounter children in circumstances and environments that are heartbreaking.  Many of the children that our police interact with only know Christmas as nothing more than a school holiday.  Many of these kids are in single parent homes or family environments that are unstable.  Many families must choose between gifts and basic utility needs or food, leaving little resources for presents at Christmas time for their children.  Regardless of why, all children deserve presents at Christmas.

The Ingleside Police Department is launching the 3rd Annual Operation Blue Santa Toy Drive.

The Ingleside Police Department is asking residents, businesses, and our corporate partners to donate new unwrapped toys, books, board games, dolls, building sets, educational items, action figures, bicycles, tricycles, and gift cards for boys and girls of all ages.  We will also accept donations of new clothing, non-perishable food, new blankets, and other items that families may need.  We believe Operation Blue Santa is a wonderful way to reach out to children and families in our community.

To be successful, we need corporate and business partners in our community to get involved.  We need your assistance, and we need your donations.  If your business or organization would be interested in making a donation, or would like to serve as a toy drop or donation location please contact Police Chief Tammy Burr by e-mailing or call 361-776-2531.

Please add Ingleside’s Operation Blue Santa to your Christmas list and donate before Sunday, December 12, 2021.
