Ingleside Fire Rescue Association Receives Donation From Chemours To Purchase Additional Protective Gear.
Donations from Chemours provided funding that was used to purchase additional Personal Protective Equipment, or PPE, to complement the already purchased wildland jackets and pants used by the City of Ingleside Volunteer Fire Department. The additional PPE purchased equipped firefighters with wildland certified boots, helmet, and goggles.
The health and safety of our Emergency Service personnel are a priority. Using the correct tools and equipment that fit the circumstances at any given emergency incident will ultimately determine the success or failure to safely, effectively, and efficiently reach the intended goals and objectives of that incident. The wildland certified boots, helmet, and goggles will properly equip our firefighters with PPE for wildland fire operations.
On behalf of all the members of the Ingleside Volunteer Fire Department, we say “THANK YOU” to Chemours for your donation and partnership to support our Firefighters.
