Summary of Position
The City of Ingleside is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time Computer Technician. Responsibilities include installs and configures computer servers, workstations and local area networks, operates them, monitors their performances, diagnoses and solves their problems. Computer related Associate Degree preferred, plus training in network installation, operations and troubleshooting. Qualified candidates must have at least one (1) year directly related experience, including: installing and supporting local area networks and workstations or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must pass applicable background screening prior to having access to Police Department computer equipment and spaces. A valid Texas Driver’s license or available alternate means of transportation. Starting entry level salary is $16,400 or depending on experience. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and a criminal background check.
