The TEDC presented the City of Ingleside an outstanding achievement award this month in Dallas, during their annual awards ceremony. Ingleside was recognized for attracting Cheniere Energy and Oxy Ingleside Energy Center projects to the community last year.  “The City has done an outstanding job of retaining, expanding and attracting business and industry to the community,” said J.J. Johnston, who nominated the City for the award.  “During the next ten years, the city’s economy will significantly expand as a result of their community and economic development efforts,” said Johnston. As detailed in the nomination, more than 200 permanent direct/indirect jobs will be created.  “With more than $100,000,000 in new wages and salaries flowing into the community, local residents will enjoy a positive economic impact, which will significantly enhance the great quality of life in Ingleside,” said Johnston.
